Blast from the past
So I went home this weekend and went to the winter advance. I had so much fun even though I was not there the entire time. Playing basketball, making dinner, and rocking out to 70's music (with the appropriate attire) is not something that I do regulary so it was a lot of fun. I wore a dress (please try to contain your shock) that was so ugly. It was brown and like 2 pieces of square material sewn up the side and embroidered with big, ugly flowers. It was still fun though. There were a bunch of great costumes (which some people wear as regular clothes). I felt sorry for Janelle all alone, but Kelly from down the hall brought her fish down to keep her company.
I've seen dead people! Today my anatomy class met in the cadavor lab. I was slightly tentative/excited. I turns out that dead people look kinda like human turkeys (no disrespect intended). It was really cool though. We also looked at some really messed up organs (even more reason not to drink and smoke).
So I got up early this morning and went to the rec center with my RA, Anna, and did the all campus challenge (and got a free T-shirt). I dont particularly like to miss out on valuable sleep, but there is something peaceful about the morning before everyone is up and everything is fresh. This afternoon in my fitness class we are doing body composition. I can hardly wait to find out exactly how much fat I have!

Yay winter retreat/advance! My parents didn't end up going this year, and Adam didn't want to from the start, so there was a sad lack of Schilperoort participation this year.
Dead people! Gross! I'd have nightmares forever. I have seen a dead person though. (My grandma twice) and don't wish to ever again!
