Israel support letter

Dear friends and family,

I want to bring you up to date on what is happening in my life. This has been a year full of changes. I graduated from Washington State last May and am now working as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Arizona State University. I am currently working with the men’s and women’s swim teams while pursuing a master’s degree in higher education.

At both WSU and ASU I have been involved with Athletes in Action (AIA), the athletic ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC). You may recall a couple of summers ago I went to Lake Tahoe on a summer project with CCC and now have a similar opportunity with AIA utilizing my skills as an athletic trainer. This summer I will be traveling to Israel with a team of women’s volleyball players. We will be working with AIA/CCC in-country staff to help build relationships with volleyball players, fans, coaches, and official while helping accelerate their ministry by sharing the message of Jesus Christ through personal conversations, games, and volleyball clinics.

I am very excited for this trip. This will be a new role for me, stepping up to more of a leadership position. I am sure that God will stretch me in new ways and pray that He will teach me more about Himself. I am excited to see how God will be using me in the lives of the team I will be traveling with and in the lives of the Israeli people that we will encounter.

Alone we can do nothing. That is why I am asking you to be part of my support team. This ministry is made possible by interested individuals such as you, who are willing to invest in our endeavor, and therefore become part of our team as we minister and compete. Each member of our team is asked to raise $4000, which is a portion of our team’s goal. All funds must be raised by June 3 in order for our team to report to training camp.

Would you prayerfully consider giving $50, $100, $250, or some other amount to help meet this need? You will be helping reach people for Christ throughout Israel as we share His love with them.

I have enclosed a self-addressed return envelope for your response. Please make checks payable to ATHLETES IN ACTION or CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST and please do not write my name in the memo line of the check per IRS guidelines. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
