Eight to Ten...or more

I was so happy to get a good night sleep last night. I slept eleven hours and really needed it because even after some coffee, I am still a little on the tired side. I love having Thursdays off because it gives me a chance to catch up on the world. I was going to go to the beach (my favorite spot for a quiet time), but it looks ready to rain. Rain will be nice though cuz it will wash the rest of the pine pollen away and the town will be cool for a day. Lindsay and I are going to see Batman Begins. It should be fun.

I cant believe that we only have 3 weeks left here. I am really excited about going back to school, but will be sad to leave (I think I have said that many times before). I hope ya'll are having fun.

Tacos for Breakfast

Yes...today is my day off so of course I must write a new post. I slept in a little longer than I wanted to, but I must have really needed it. I did eat left over tacos for breakfast. The kitchen at camp still isn't finished and due to VBS at the church the cooks have been cooking at, we have been eating out...last night was taco bell.

The staff began to leave this morning. Whoever isn't already gone will be tomorrow morning. I am really excited about what the summer still has in store.

My job is going good. The early hours are really hard sometimes especially when I don't get my coffee in the morning. I am now really hooked on coffee which is sad because that is what I wanted to go without for the summer. I will definatly stop drinking it when I get back to school. I am really excited about starting school this fall. I am enjoying to break, but I am really excited to start a new year.

Settlers

So I had never played settlers before I got here, but now I am hooked. I was up til 2:30 this morning playing for the 2nd and 3rd times. I won the first game, but just didn't have the resources for the second. What a fun game!

Anyways...today is my day off and so I spent most of it so far sleeping. I like days off, but they seem like regular days when I wake-up around the time I get off. I also dont really like that there is hardly anyone around during the afternoons. I thought that I would go to the beach later. The water is nice and cold (the way I like it). I just hope I dont get another sunburn.

I am making a lot of good friends. I am going to be really sad when the staff leaves next week because they are so fun, but I hear that project doesnt really begin until the staff leaves so I am excited at the same time.

Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July everyone! Everything is going pretty good down here. I am tired as a dog. Yesterday was a long day. I got to work at 4:30 which ment that I was a little bit late (not that it is a big deal). After work we had an outreach on the beach that went pretty good. For our social we did a staff hunt around the heavenly shops. It was really fun, but I was so tired and my knee has been hurting so I was so happy to get back and go to bed (around 10 ish). I woke up this morning at 9:15, but I am still tired from the backed up loss of sleep so I have been cafinating myself (I am on my second cup).

We have another outreach today because this is a big weekend in Tahoe being a holiday and all. We usually only have one in a weekend. I dont really want to go cuz I havent even had time to do my Bible study the last few days cuz everything is so crazy (and yet I am online?). I guess it is sanity time.

Well I guess I should get going. Where??? I dont know.
