Whining

I dont mean to be a complainer but I just feel like doing so. I could express how I feel to my Pullman friends, but I think they just might not understand the same way I think you all would. What hurts: my shoulder, back, knees, eyes, head, and neck. Medications: Ibuprofen (I think that is how it is spelled) and chocolate. No, my blood does not hurt and I am proud to have lasted this long without expresing the terrible pain that I am in. Bonnie you would be proud of me...I didnt complain at all on the winter advance this year. Sometimes I feel like taking a hammer and smashing my joints because I dont think that would hurt as bad as they already do.

Today has been a long day. Not a bad day just long and I am tired. I was going to write something funny after my depressing opening, but I cant remember (imagine my brain walking out the front door)!

Have you ever had diet cherry vanilla dr pepper? It is the best thing since pepsi blue.
Current good book that everyone should read: Out of the saltshaker into the world
Whats good: milkyway dark
Everyone should own a pda
Nachos should be broiled not microwaved
Everyone should send me money so I can go to Tahoe this summer
Tomorrow (or today depending on when you read this) is March!
Good movie to make fun of: A walk to remember
Good things to eat with a spoon: Peanutbutter
Another way to annoy your roomate: chew/eat loudly (chips work great)
Say "sheet" 5 times fast and you coud imagine the fun I had in class today
Did you know that top ramen is deep fried
I think I will stop now

I hope everyone is having a great time at their respective schools and is doing well in classes

Did someone say Tahoe?!?!

Yeah thats right...I'm going to Tahoe and it will be the best summer ever! I am so excited! Now I just have to raise support.

I gave blood on Tuesday and now I have this big old nasty bruise on my arm. It is beautiful!

I just spent 4 long, boring hours in the training room and I still have 6 to go. Thank goodness I will be able to get them done before spring break (I am so looking forward to Palm Springs!)

Yeah so thats all I got...besides a ton of homework and tests to study for. TTYL!

Blast from the past

So I went home this weekend and went to the winter advance. I had so much fun even though I was not there the entire time. Playing basketball, making dinner, and rocking out to 70's music (with the appropriate attire) is not something that I do regulary so it was a lot of fun. I wore a dress (please try to contain your shock) that was so ugly. It was brown and like 2 pieces of square material sewn up the side and embroidered with big, ugly flowers. It was still fun though. There were a bunch of great costumes (which some people wear as regular clothes). I felt sorry for Janelle all alone, but Kelly from down the hall brought her fish down to keep her company.

I've seen dead people! Today my anatomy class met in the cadavor lab. I was slightly tentative/excited. I turns out that dead people look kinda like human turkeys (no disrespect intended). It was really cool though. We also looked at some really messed up organs (even more reason not to drink and smoke).

So I got up early this morning and went to the rec center with my RA, Anna, and did the all campus challenge (and got a free T-shirt). I dont particularly like to miss out on valuable sleep, but there is something peaceful about the morning before everyone is up and everything is fresh. This afternoon in my fitness class we are doing body composition. I can hardly wait to find out exactly how much fat I have!

Bring on the weekend!

  • I know that it is only Wednesday night, but for me it is almost like Friday. I dont have any classes tomorrow and friday is a light day compared to the others. I am going home...and then leaving again. The plan: go to the winter advance (is Jason still calling it that?) and then to Tacoma for boys 3A state diving (gotta support the team!). Then back to Yak and then to p-town by classes on Tuesday. What a weekend it will be! I know that my mom is excited for me to bring a little sanity back into her life.
  • Even though we just had midterms, I am feeling a little overwhelmed. It seems that most test information is presented the week after the last test and then we have 4 weeks to learn it. So I am currently momorizing the origin, insertion, and action of over 50 muscle above the waist (should be fun!).
  • Finally...you are probably wondering about the bullets...blogger is being weird. So...I am going to do some more homework....have a good night/day/state of being!

Love is in the air!

Happy Valentine's Day! or for people like me...singles awareness day!
This is to you...the people who, instead of wearing pink, are wearing black.

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
You are Sweet
And so is Honey

Have a great day and remember that if you dont have a special someone now...you may never! ;)

10 ways to annoy your roommate!

I am just sitting here eating m&m's and was suddenly inspired to post again.

1. Slurp your soup
2. Inhale your m&m's
3. Breath loudly over their shoulder
4. Talk in your sleep
5. Snore
6. Hit snooze 20 times in the morning
7. Read their IM conversations over their shoulder
8. IM them repeatedly even though they are right behind you
9. Steal their mail
10. Play really anoying music that they hate

I am just hoping that she will not really play Neil Diamond if I continue to inhale my M&M's as she has threatened to do if I continue.

More Sentimentality

Just some fond reflections of younger years with Yakamaniacs. I remember Annie running down the hill from the oasis to the church singing "Na-na na-na na-na na-na Batman!" And Bonnie hopping around like a little bunnie on the playground at school (your not even that short anymore...I have friends that are sub-5-feet). And Kim giggling at awana (those were the days). I remember 8th grade choir when I first met Sally (whose aunt is married to my dad's something cousin...isnt the world small). I remember a field trip in elementary school and eating lunch with Margaret (I think your mom told us a story about pine cones). Geez that was forever ago!

Anyways...I am so looking forward to going to Spokane tomorrow! I am so slick of being in Pullman. It is like being in Yakima, but without the poor excuse for a mall. Besides going to CRU and cougar country, I would never even get off campus!

Ohh....Pink! Well...round 1 midterms are done. Time to start studying for the next ones.

I want a cheese burger!

This is for Molly

To Molly who keeps me awake in class by whispering softly into my ear soothing word which will resound in my memory for all time! For Molly the ISTJ, TMI that I have so much in common with, who actually reads my blog, and is as random as I.

To everyone else who reads my blogs and openly laughs at the rediculousness that is my life as only true friends would, I thank you.

I dont think I have much more to say. I feel like I am 80: old and tired (you would think that nyquill would help me sleep better). I am looking forward to Wednesday when all of the weeks tests will be over and I can sit, knit, and watch alias!

Have a good day everyone and may the force be with you!

All about today

I am so glad that everyone loves the new background. I like that I can use different font colors.

So it was supposed to snow today and guess what...IT DID!!! Isnt it pretty!

We rearranged yesterday and changed it back to the oldy way today. That was fun and exciting.

Emily's favorte things: Calendars at the Bookie for only a dollar! They are great to cut apart and decorate with. Now the walls are plastered with pictures from Canada (what a beautiful country).

We made brownies today!!! They are for while we watch Titanic tonight. Not my favorite movie, but since we watched rotk last night the girs must watch something girly.
